Polished Concrete Installer I
Concrete Polishing Installer job duties consist of basic cleaning and general labor work of various floor systems.
Polished Concrete Installer II
Installer job duties consist of the overall prep and installation of various floor systems. Knowledge of staining, sealing, scoring, concrete grinding, and concrete polishing with a previous concrete polishing contractor is a must.
Concrete Polishing Crew Leader
This position will manage/oversee a crew of approximately 2-10 other employees in this polishing company. Previous experience staining and sealing concrete, grinding concrete and polishing concrete floor slabs, and epoxy installations primarily in the commercial and industrial field are required.
The Polished Concrete Crew Leader is directly responsible for the setup and management of the daily activities of an assigned project resulting in an on-time and within-budget completion. The Crew Leader also has the primary responsibility for safety training and practice throughout the project-(OSHA training is a plus). A Crew Leader for a concrete polishing company must also be able to read construction plans and handle change orders or other administrative responsibilities. Candidates must be able to pass an extensive background check and be free of felonies and drug-related offenses or similar which may negate admittance to client job sites.
Polished Concrete Estimator/Sales
Estimators for a concrete polishing contractor will have a minimum of 3 years of successful experience with commercial flooring/estimating. This person will be responsible for walk-thru’s, construction meetings, field measuring, takeoffs, executing change orders, addendum, etc….Estimators will also maintain contact with potential clients via telephone/email/ or person before and during the bidding process and conduct follow-up after the job has been awarded.
